Honey Glazed Chicken Bake

Ingredients
- 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup flour
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- ½ tsp. ginger
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a shallow dish, combine the flour and seasonings. Dip each piece of chicken in the flour mixture and coat evenly. Melt two tablespoons of the butter in a shallow baking dish, large enough to acommodate the chicken in a single layer. Arrange the chicken in the pan. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking, melt the remaining butter in a small saucepan and add the honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and ginger. After the chicken has baked for 20 minutes, turn each piece over and pour the sauce over the chicken. Bake another 20 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink, and baste frequently.
- Serve with rice or over a tossed salad.
