Have I mentioned that I LOVE my Panini maker? Yes, I think I have. Well panini night is upon us again and this Panini is another one of my favorites! Barbecue sauce, turkey, bacon, avocado how can you go wrong! In fact after we ate this one, we all said “Dang” that was good!! Hence the name 🙂 “Dang Good” BBQ Turkey Panini!
"Dang Good" BBQ Turkey Panini
Author: Sugar n' Spice Gals
Recipe type: sandwich
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- (For 2 Panini's)
- 4 slices of bread (I used Great Harvest Sweet Hawaiian thick sliced, this bread also makes a good french toast!)
- sliced turkey
- sliced avocado
- sliced red onion
- Barbecue Sauce (Sweet Baby Rays, oh yeah)
- 4 slices bacon, cooked
- Sliced Cheddar Jack cheese
- butter
Instructions
- Butter one side of bread. Place butter side down on Panini maker.
- Spread about 1 Tbsp. of barbecue sauce on bread.
- Layer turkey, I used about 3 slices per panini, you put how much you like,
- sliced cheese, red onion slices, 2 pieces of bacon, put more barbecue sauce on the other slice of bread and put sauce side down on sandwich. Cook for 3-5 minutes, I cook it on low, until heated through and cheese has melted.
- When panini is cooked, let rest for about a couple of minutes before cutting. Add some sliced avocado and voila, you've got one "Dang" good panini!
