Pumpkin Caramel Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
- Pumpkin Caramel Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 Tbsp yeast
- ½ cup warm water
- ½ Cup canned pumpkin
- ⅔ cup sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 cups flour
- 2 Tbsp butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp cinnamon
- Caramel Frosting:
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
- ½ cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl dissolve yeast in warm water. Add pumpkin, sugar, salt, egg, ¼ cup melted butter, cloves, cinnamon and mix well.
- Slowly add flour until it no longer sticks to sides.
- Put into a greased bowl and let rise until double in size. Punch down and let rest 5 more minutes.
- Roll out into a rectangle. Brush the dough with 2 Tbsp of butter. Mix ½ cup brown sugar and 2 Tbsp. cinnamon together and spread on top of butter. Roll dough jelly roll style starting with the long side. Pinch edges together.
- Cut into 12 sliced about 1 inch each.
- Place in a greased 9x13 pan, cover and let rise until double in size. (about 30-45 minutes)
- Cook at 350 degrees about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Frosting:
- In a small saucepan melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Cook for 1 minute. Take off heat and let cool. Stir in vanilla, salt and powdered sugar. Beat until well blended and smooth. (Add more sugar to get the desired consistency)
- Drizzle frosting on rolls.
