How have you been spending most of your time during this pandemic? I know many woman that I have spoken with have spent many more hours in the kitchen baking or trying new recipes.
I have been in that exact same boat. The baking boat. I have tried making new recipes, and have made some of my favorite recipes over and over again. The recipe that I have probably made more this year than ever before is my mom’s classic chocolate chip cookie. I have that recipe memorized and mastered, and my husband does not complain when he finds a new batch of frozen cookie dough balls in the freezer each week. I was going to make a new batch of those chocolate chip cookies, but realized I still had a bag full of dough left in the freezer. Instead I decided to put a twist to this week’s cookie batch by adding in some caramel and sea salt, and Voila I came up with this Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.
