Every once in a while I will taste a dish that I will immediately say, “I have to have this recipe!” Â Well, this Jo’s Crab Pasta Salad is one of those dishes. From the first bite, I knew it was something I’d make often and enjoy every time.
Thanks, Jo, For the Crab Pasta Salad
I’m not sure who Jo is, but thank goodness he/she came up with this!
I first had this crab pasta salad recipe several years ago when my sister in law made this for a family party. At first, it looked like any other pasta salad you might see at a pot luck, but after tasting it I knew why the bowl was going so fast. It was an immediate hit and I made sure I got the recipe from her before she left.
It has since become one of my favorite imitation crab pasta salads to serve at our barbecues. My family doesn’t normally eat seafood pasta salad recipes, but this one has them converted!
Crab Pasta Salad for the Win!
I LOVE this crab pasta salad, and so does the family! It can be prepared in about 30 minutes and is pretty easy to put together. The mix of macaroni shell pasta, hard boiled eggs, imitation crab and yummy sauces and spices make this crab macaroni salad diverse and delicious at the same time. The ingredients are easy to come by but the combination of them together is what makes this crab pasta salad recipe so special. Make sure you mix it all well to get the best flavor with every bite.
When it comes to cold crab salad recipes, this one really is hard to beat. It’s also family friendly, so you can rest easy the kids won’t be scared of trying it. Even though it is an imitation crab salad recipe, it tastes like the real thing and goes great with any lunch or dinner entree you are putting together.
Another salad recipe that’s become a family favorite. Thanks Jo!

Hi
Can you use fresh crabmeat in this recipe.
The girl next door says
I don’t see why not! The imitation crab is just less expensive. Hope you enjoy it!

Made this for a potluck and it went over VERY well. It makes a ton, which was fine with me, because not only did my guests enjoy it, but so did my 9 year old Andrea and myself. Not a single noodle went to waste! Yum!

I made this last week — Delicious! I was afraid it would be too “egg-y” but it turned out great. I halved the recipe and it still made A LOT.
