Dreamy Hot Cocoa with a snowman straw is perfect for a chilly winter night with the kids. This cocoa recipe is from Paula Deen and it truly lived up to it’s name of “Dreamy”. The straws add a little festive fun for the little ones to enjoy. Let them make and decorate them themselves as the hot cocoa is warming up on the stove. You will never regret the times spent together as a family enjoying a warm cup of cocoa and more important each other!

Snowman Straw
Plastic Straws
Large marshmallows
Chocolate chips
Mini chocolate chips
Mini M&M’s
Icing, red and white.
Peel licorice
(Or use whatever you would like to decorate your straw, let the kids be creative)
Push 3 marshmallows on to straw one at a time, cleaning out the hole in the straw each time so it doesn’t clog.
Add eyes, mouth and buttons by putting a little dab of icing where you want to attach each piece.
Add licorice for a scarf.
I put a gummy lifesaver that I already had on the top as a hat.
