Slow Cooker Black Bean Chili

This Black Bean Chili is sure to warm you up on a cold winter day. It's easy to throw together and delicious.
Recipe type: Main Dish
Serves: 8-10
  • 4 cans black beans (not drained)
  • 2 lbs. ground beef cooked and drained of grease.
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 large can 28 oz.) diced tomatoes
  • 1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1½ Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1½ Tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1½ Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 can corn (drained)
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped (approx. ¾ cup)
  • Tortilla strips for garnish
  1. In a skillet, brown the hamburger and onion together and drain grease.
  2. Place all ingredients int the crock pot and cook on low for 5-6 hours.
  3. Serve with tortilla strips, cheese, or sour cream.
  4. ENJOY!
