This yummy Gingerbread will have your mouth watering as you smell it cooking in the oven. A great holiday treat.

Serves: 2 loaves
Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 Tbs. vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. Prepare 2 loaf pans (9x5x3) by spraying with veg. oil and dusting with flour.
  3. In a large bowl, mix togehter the dry ingredients.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the milk, syrup, oil and eggs together.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients until moistened.
  6. Pour into prepared pans.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan and place on wire rack.
  9. ENJOY!
