Cashew Caramel Fudge
 
 
This Cashew Caramel Fudge is a great treat for the holidays. Wrap it up in cellophane and tie it up with a bow and you've got the perfect gift to give your friends.

Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk.
  • 2½ cups sugar
  • 1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
  • 24 caramels, unwrapped and cut in fourths
  • 1 cup salted cashew halves
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Line a 9x9 square baking pan with aluminum foil and grease the foil with butter.
  2. Before starting recipe, unwrap the caramels and cut them into fourths. (a pair of scissors works well)
  3. In a saucepan, combine the milk, sugar and butter and heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Bring it to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove it from the heat and stir in the marshmallow creme and chocolate chips and blend well.
  6. Stir in vanilla then add the cashews and caramels.
  7. Pour into the greased pan and cool completely.
  8. Cut into squares and ENJOY!
