Chocolate Chunk Pecan Bars

Ingredients
  • Crust:
  • 1½ cups flour
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • Filling:
  • 3 eggs
  • ¾ cup light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chunks
  • 1½ cups. chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. To prepare the crust, mix together the flour, butter and brown sugar until crumbly.
  2. Press into a greased 9x13 pan and cook in 350 degree oven for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. While it is cooking, mix together the filling by whisking together the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Mix in the chocolate chunks and pecans.
  5. Pour over the baked crust and return to the oven to cook for 25 more minutes or until set.
  6. Cool before cutting.
